I am based in Chelmsford and makes visits to both and workplace in Havering including Upminster, Romford, Hornchurch and the Essex area including Brentwood, Ingatestone, Blackmore and Basildon.

Computer Repair Services

Tempting isn't it? Before frustration of a slow or unresponsive computer gets the better of you, or to avoid the problems that can occur after a lengthy period of use, let me provide what is essentially a computer 'MOT' and service to keep it not only in tip top condition but also secure and current in what is a fast developing digital world. Also, if you are experiencing network/internet headaches or that most accursed piece of IT equipment, the printer, is causing you nothing but trouble then let me add it to a very large number of printers that have been fixed by me.

IT Consulting

Over the years I have been asked to provide various IT and digital services including data retrieval, repairing faulty computer parts, overcoming problematic account difficulties, switching and setting up broadband, advising and installing new smart TVs, providing and setting up new desktop PCs, laptops, smart phones, tablets, iPads and more. If you have a problem of an IT nature then please just contact me and I will inform you whether or not it is something I can achieve for you.

Digital Support

Many people even now are entering the digital world for the first time and can be both exciting and daunting with an ever expanding world of technology, baffling choices of devices and terminology that even this ITman struggles to keep up with. So, if you are having trouble with keeping up with the latest requirements to keep your online accounts safe, seeking advice how you can use your device to the best advantage when it comes to looking after the pennies in these difficult times, then I can make personal visits to your home, or if you are in the vicinity of Chelmsford then do join us at the Chelmsford Computer Club that operates each month. A fee of £8 is charged and limited parking is available at the church.

Prices

I do not charge a call out fee but an initial diagnosis fee of £20 will be charged that will go towards your final invoice. It can be difficult to give an exact price here on this site for what it will cost to provide the service you may need as IT problems can sometimes take minutes and others literally days. I will certainly not fix or solve your problem before first providing you with a price and I do guarantee a no fix/no fee policy. I can also offer, if circumstances allow, a remote access service to your Windows computer but is only available after an initial personal visit so you are confident with whom you are entrusting your computer with. Payments by cash, cheque and bank transfer are fee free and Mastercard/Visa cards are accepted with a 2% surcharge.
